Hermes “Les Chiens Parisiens” Twilly by Matthieu Cossé

I hate shopping for Twillys online
Here’s why

Would you buy a scarf while only being able to see half of it? Well, that is what hermes.com displays when posting photos of their Twillys. You only see half of the front and half of the back.

At the beginning of the year I saw “Les Chiens Parisiens” on hermes.com and there were so many cute dogs on the front and the back, but I could only see half of each.

I am always on the hunt for Poodles hidden in Hermes scarves because I have 2 Toy Poodles, but the Twilly photography choices on the Hermes website made it impossible to know.

To be Poodles or Not to be Poodles?

I got a call from my SA at the beginning of January 2024 because I had requested an Hermes Picotin Pocket (or Cargo) and it finally arrived! So I went into the store to retrieve it, but also wanted to do some scarf shopping. This is when I also spotted “Les Chiens Parisiens” and was so excited that there was in fact a Poodle hiding that you could not see on the Hermes website. Watch the shopping vlog above for the Poodle reveal on the “Les Chiens Parisiens” Twilly.

I wasn’t 100% sold on this green and brown color way (technically Beige Doré / Vert / Orange) so my SA told me she could collect some other options for me.  So let’s fast forward to April 12th when I went back to the store to see all the colors in person.

Hermes Shopping in April 2024

I ended up seeing so many beautiful colors of the “Les Chiens Parisiens” Twilly and ended up adding the Caban / Blanc / Caramel color way to my collection. It’s such a fun special one and I can’t wait to style it.

And Here is the Unboxing

A Few Notes on Matthieu Clossé

In 2021 he completed the mural in the Hermès boutique on the Rue de Sèvres (above). And below are my top 4 favorite recent releases of his works (besides “Les Chiens Parisiens”).
