Hermes "Precious Paradise" by Katie Scott

It’s giving “White Lotus”
So, this one was an immediate, “yes”.

I had actually reserved a few colorways of the Precious Paradise motif in the 90cm before I saw it available in the US. I loved the animals, the fountains and the tiny playful details, but when it finally came in, I was a little disappointed at how it translated around the neck. The colors weren’t so flattering on me and it looked more like a floral scarf than a whimsical animal scarf (photos below).

However, yesterday I went back to Hermes, Washington, DC to pick up the Animaux Bandana and when I was waiting for my SA, I spotted this one under the counter. I was immediately drawn to the colorway and upon closer inspection all of the animals were perfectly centered down the middle instead of mostly seeing flowers (even though I do love flowers).

Come shopping with me on that day in the vlog below.

I saw so many exciting things that day, including the scarf preview for the FW24 collection. I learned that Hermes will be rereleasing two of my all-time favorites first released in the early 2000’s by Leigh P. Cooke, including “I Like Flowers” in a 70cm and “In The Pocket” in a Twilly.
