How Did Miranda Priestly Tie Her Hermes Scarf in "The Devil Wears Prada"?
Now that I’ve ID’ed it,
how did she tie it?
How does Miranda Priestly tie her Hermes scarf in “The Devil Wears Prada”? This was a little trickier than I first imagined. The scarf Miranda is wearing is called “Bolduc”, named after the signature Hermes ribbon. As far as I know, this scarf was only released in this specific colorway in a 45cm version, BUT this doesn’t look like a 45cm scarf on Miranda.
In order to get this look, I’m guessing she tied together two 45cm “Bolduc” Hermes scarves. This is the only way it would be possible to tie the scarves around twice, as well as have enough fabric to tuck into the front of her top.
And actually, very into this idea of using two 45cm scarves, so thank you Miranda for continuing to give new fashion inspo even today.
Hermes “Bolduc” 45
Miranda is wearing Hermes “Bolduc” 45, one of the same scarves that flew through the air and almost cost Emily her life. Because Miranda always gets what Miranda wants.
Which Other Hermes Scarves are in “The Devil Wears Prada”?
I’m even revealing a
New plot twist at the end.
Let’s talk about the iconic scene from “The Devil Wears Prada” when full shopping bags of Hermes scarves go flying through the air in the middle of Manhattan. This is the type of scene I dream about (minus the whole taxi incident at the beginning, of course). But which Hermes scarves are they?
This isn’t the only time when we see Hermes scarves either. In the very last scene Miranda Priestly is wearing a beautifully styled Hermes scarf as she gets into her chauffeured car. After identifying this scarf, I’ve discovered a plot twist at the end.
