Hermes "Des Fleurs Pour Le Dire" 45
Why I Love This Pattern: As a fan of Leigh P. Cooke this one is at the top of my list and one that I have in person collection as well. The flowers and envelopes are so romantic and I even found this poem about the scarf pattern in an Hermes 2005 scarf catalog, "Opened envelopes, from which there escapes a silence sprinkled with petals. So eloquent a message! Such a hand, such syntax, such spelling! And what a novel of love! The love, as it were, of a father for his daughter. An impulse which is lost for words. A happiness no better accounted for than by this perfumed alphabet. Between two hearts there passes a current, light as a wave produced by the flutter of an eyelash. Delicate quiverings broaden out. Gentle ripples on the surface of the world."
Why I Love This Size: The size 45cm is so underrated. It’s small, but mighty. It gives more of a casual bandana look when styled with the triangle in the front. Or when styled in a bias fold, more of an understated French look. Here are some styling tutorials and outfit inspo.
