The Abigail Chart: Reading A Scarf
How to read a scarf: my favorite way is with the “Abigail Chart” and these scarves from my upcoming January 8th scarf restock are such good examples— not to mention gorgeous! The first few scarves I ever bought were scarves with wide borders because I loved the design, but just wasn’t envisioning how the pattern would look the way I wanted to style them. Using a chart like this really highlights the areas you’ll see when tied in different ways. I often get the question “how do I style a scarf with borders” and I think this chart really clarifies that— one of the magic folds is the bias fold! So if you’re picking your first scarf, first I’d go with your gut, but second I’d keep this chart in the back of your mind for styling!
