Why I Love This Accessory: So what is this Hermes torture device? It’s actually a glove clip! It hangs on a bag and holds your gloves. I have one in my own collection and this is filed under things I could have lived without, but also needed at the same time. It reminds me of antique sterling silver tableware, where every piece had a dedicated function: asparagus tongs for asparagus, sugar tongs for sugar cubes, and ice tongs for ice. There’s something so charming and nostalgic about that level of specificity. But I digress—the real point is, this glove clip is unusual, refined, and, best of all, shiny.
