From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2016 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: The close connections between fauna and flora in this scarf can be read as an allegory of life itself. In the country of bird-flowers (pays des oiseaux-fleurs), no two trees are alike and each one spreads out in floral arabesques with ornamented contours.
