ès Spring-Summer 2016 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: The close connections between fauna and flora in this scarf can be read as an allegory of life itself. In the country of bird-flowers (pays des oiseaux-fleurs), no two trees are alike and each one spreads out in floral arabesques with ornamented contours. Their branches beckon multicoloured birds to come and nestle in the leaves, use twigs to construct nests, feed on flowers and carry fertile pollen and grains. As the illustrator Christine Henry depicts in this parable, one cannot live without the other. Animals and plants intermingle in this composition that depicts the extraordinary richness of our planet and the intelligence, beauty and power of nature.

- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
