Why I Love This Pattern: In 1957, Robert Dumas collaborated with Hugo Grygkar to create what would become one of Hermès’ most iconic designs. By placing two bridles face to face on the floor, a design emerged that felt instantly complete and the motif took shape. The design honors Hermès’ origins as a saddlery, its commitment to beauty, function, and longevity, and the elegance of ceremonial harnesses. Many of the elements were drawn from the Émile Hermès collection, proving that some objects are destined to live on. In this particular variation I love the split motif where half looks like it's done in leather.
