From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2022 Website Description: Showcasing his exceptional eye for detail and ornamentation, Pierre Marie continues the story he began with Hermes in 2015: La Maison de Carres. One that playfully details all the stages in the creation and manufacture of an Hermes carre. The scarves are seen flying with their own wings, transporting damsels towards other horizons; taking them on peaceful trips with views above the clouds. Hidden under an orange box that is far too small for it, a turtle has also taken this opportunity to go on new adventures!
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
