About This Pattern: I recently noticed a newer edition of this scarf in the show 1923 worn by Alexandra. She was wearing a 70cm version with a lattice design added to the borders, but the motif was first released in 1973, which is the one I have here. Also what is a Carrick à Pompe? It's a horse carriage with two horses and the bars we see above and below the center design are the rods that keep the horses connected when pulling the carriage.
Why I Love This Size
The 90cm silk scarf is the classic size. It’s technically the most versatile in terms of tying many different knots, styling it as a top, a bag, a headscarf and the list goes on.
