From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2012 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: With a visual trick displacing the boundaries between the abstract and figurative, this scarf presents an innovative interpretation at the house's legendary 1938 emblem. Chic and contemporary, it is inspired by an anchor chain of a boat. Its lines are simple. Its feel is sporty. But striated like a frame surrounding them, these rings could recall automobile racing circuits. The design is pure and graphic, and the restraint of a form fulfilling its function is prominent. It is here that lies the modernity that defies time.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
