Why I Love This Pattern: This classic design by Julie Abadie, created in the late 1970s, shows the spirit of clattering carriages and magnificent teams of horses. Its motif highlights the flowing curves of leather blinkers and the elegant interlacing of late 19th-century English horsewhips. The blackthorn handles, finished with silver rings and pommels, add a refined touch. The illustrations draw inspiration from the treasures of the Emile Hermès collection.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
