Why I Love This Pattern: The Desert Leathers scarf captures the vast expanse of dunes, where the sky meets the earth. It evokes the sun-scorched scent of leather, worn and shaped by the heat of the desert. At its center, we see a Tuareg rider surrounded by satchels, bags, and wallets—companions of his journey. This design honors the intricate craftsmanship of the Sahara’s artisans, from the Berbers of Hoggar to the nomads of Gao, who cut, dye, and emboss goat and camel leather.
