From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2021/22 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: What a curious gallery of portraits! Figures from history and legend along with some incongruous faces pose in the studio of an unseen photographer. Marie-Antoinette, the French fictional character Fantômas, and the god in a winged helmet are dazzled in turn by his flash. The American artist Daniel Clowes, creator of cartoon strips inspired by 1950s comics, has combined genres and eras in an entertaining composition evocative of the wild ambience of early 20th-century masked balls. "Who am I?", the beautiful woman in the centre seems to ask. With her impeccably styled hair and her gaze concealed behind a domino mask, she is the true heroine of this double-sided scarf.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
