From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2022/23 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: At the sight of this magical scene, we are seized by an urge to take out our pencil cases and get colouring. Then suddenly... woof! woof! A dog appears, then another, emerging at speed under the watchful eye of a third four-legged friend. As you count the protagonists darting about, you can make out the gardens of the Borghese villa, reconstructed in the form of a joyous camouflage. Then the arena for these canine frolics takes shape: in the midst of this luxuriant vegetation, you can discern the laughter of children playing, hear birds singing and calling, and even smell the scents! And in the distance stands Rome, the eternal city.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
