From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2017/18 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: A murmured dialogue between strength and gentleness, a close encounter of vitality and sophistication, this scarf echoes the Hermes haute bijouterie jewellery set Brides de gala. Florence Manlik presents it in the stvle of a working drawing. Each set stone, each gold link acquires astonishing relief, and a presence enhanced by the hint of the designer's hand at work, the jewel in the making. The jewellery set draws on diverse influences: with its bits, headpieces or bridles, it evokes the world of harness-making, but it is also an homage to the scarf by Hugo Grygkar from which it takes its name. Today these necklaces, tiaras, earrings, rings and bracelets alight harmoniously on silk.
