Why I Love This Pattern: As a long time Meryl Streep and Nancy Meyers fan, seeing the “Ex-Libris” pattern in “It’s Complicated” gives the best seal of approval. But what is an ex-libris? It’s a bookplate which is a label that personalizes the owner’s books in their library. “Ex-Libris” is Latin and translates to 'from the library of”. In 1923, Emile‑Maurice Hermes, the grandson of the founder of the house, chose this Ex-Libris as his own and it became a symbol of Hermes. I love this history and heritage, especially when mixed with with exceptional beadwork.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
