From The Hermès Spring-Summer 1987 Seasonal Booklet: This scarf was designed to commemorate the 150 th anniversary of the independence of Texas. In the traditional circlet are cactus, fruit and flowers, the symbolic turkey stands against a background of a rocky range. Emerging at the four cardinal points, and interlinked by a wild-flower garland, stand a puma, a long-horn steer, a coyote and a mustang. animals indelibly allied to the history of this area.
