From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2001 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Translation: "Sacred Peru" "Huaca" comes from a verb meaning "to groan", for it was in groaning that the first Peruvians were supposed to pray to their gods. Man is never content with his lot: it is his shortcoming, but also his good fortune, since in trying to make himself better he is forced to touch on Beauty. The "groaning" leads towards a craftsmanship, whose testimony is witnessed in these jewels and accessories of a pre-Inca period.

Why I Love This Size
The 90cm silk scarf is the classic size. It’s technically the most versatile in terms of tying many different knots, styling it as a top, a bag, a headscarf and the list goes on.
