From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2017/18 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Canada is the second largest country in the world. Bounded by three oceans, it is irrigated by thousands of lakes, a vast territory burgeoning with wildlife that Alice Shirley interprets in this scarf as a swirling celebration of life, an explosion of colour. A majestic snowy owl - one of the emblems of Quebec - soars amid the aurora borealis. Polar and brown bears, salmon, narwhals, whales, bison, caribou, snow geese and butterflies go about their daily lives, at the foot of a sequoia tree, in the shade of a maple, surrounded by blue flax flowers, in the clear water of a river, in this ode to the natural world.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
