Why I Love This Pattern: In 2011, Hermès launched J’aime Mon Carré (I Love My Scarf), a website showcasing different ways to style a scarf. The name also became the title of this 70cm released alongside the campaign, which celebrated a younger audience of stylish girls and boys from London, New York, Paris, and Tokyo, effortlessly wearing their scarves in fun and creative ways. As part of the campaign, Hermès collaborated with the now-closed Parisian boutique Colette too.
Why I Love This Size
The 70cm format is actually my favorite out of all the sizes. I find it small enough where I’m not overwhelmed by fabric, but big enough when I can still do a few fancier knots. The 70cm also uses a lighter weight silk than any of the other sizes, which gives it a casual effortless look. I always recommend this size for petites as well, it’s almost a petite version of a 90cm. But even if you’re taller it works perfectly too.
