Why I Love This Pattern: Jan Bajtlik reimagines Hermès history as a goose game, where each square marks a milestone in the brand’s evolution. From Thierry Hermès founding his harness workshop in 1837 to the forward-looking vision of today. At the center is Thierry himself, surrounded by whimsical nods to key figures, including Charles-Émile Hermès riding a childhood rocking horse. In the distance, a spaceship lifts off, a symbol of the house’s constant drive toward reinvention and new horizons.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
