Why I Love This Pattern: The Marwari, legendary horse of India’s Rajput warriors, has long been celebrated for its slender build and signature inward‑curving ears. Inspired by this noble breed, Danse du Cheval Marwari centers on a radiant stallion encircled by equally lavish companions, each draped in jeweled brocades that mirror their riders’ finery. The scene shows the deep bond between horse and horseman, recalling royal processions where Marwaris, glittering in ornate saddles and gold‑studded tack, still hold the spotlight.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
