Why I Love This Pattern: We see a cat who was looking for a cozy place to nap and curled up inside his owner's scarf box. When he woke, he was flat. Square, even. But instead of complaining, he made the most of it. He was finally able to impress his friend the flying squirrel, who had always mocked him with the ability to stretch out and glide through the air. This time, the squirrel was the one left speechless. It’s the kind of fable La Fontaine never wrote, but Florence Manlik did.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
