Why I Love This Pattern: François Houtin, a landscape gardener and illustrator, drews inspiration from the plant world. He created a dreamlike interpretation of Leïla Menchari’s Mediterranean garden, which she first discovered in Tunisia at just 10 years old and influenced her designs for decades. She described its lush, surreal beauty, with towering trees, bamboo, and vibrant vegetation—a vision of paradise. I love this version with added block printing, which bring even more blooms and foliage to life.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
