From The Hermès Fall-Winter 1993/94 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: The hoofbeats of the huge herds of wild horses that once pounded across the plains of America also thundered through our childhood dreams, in those days filled with the legends of the Far West. Today, the world has changed. One mythology replaces another, and now a child's soul is thrilled by electric guitars. Mustangs are rare. But here are a few of them nevertheless, charging along at top speed, fleeing from the threat that we will forget them.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
