From The Hermes Website: The phaeton, named after the son of the solar deity in Greek mythology, is a horse-drawn vehicle that was popular in the late 18th century in France and England. Lightweight and easy to handle, it allowed the driver to move swiftly around town. Here, the designer Pierre Marie presents a rear perspective of the model in the Émile Hermès collection, with its large wheels and delicately painted decoration. Around the scarf, framed by harmonious curves, a pattern of palm leaves recalls the rug in Émile Hermès' office, where this precious carriage is displayed.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
