Notes: This is the original version and we can see four men in each corners, but these were replaced by elephants in the 2001 reissued version.

Playing around with chronology, three centuries of history are squeezed into a shimmering blur of Mogul art. Tamerlane is not far off. In his princely palace the lordly sovereign of Hindustan strokes a leopard whilst the heady fragrance of sandalwood is stirred by the motions of a fan. Indifferent to the dancing girls, elephants and mahouts lend their ample weight to this oriental fantasy.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
