Hermès Website: In Thailand where they flourish, water hyacinths are collected, then dried in the sun before being woven. They are used for basketry to create various objects such as baskets, hats, sandals and animal-shaped toys. The Masan, which means "woven horse" in Thai, is one of them. The designer Terawat Teankaprasith, who was one of the six winners of the Grand Prix du Carré Hermès launched in 2019, took inspiration from this ancestral expertise to create a striking and majestic piece.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
