From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2024/25 Collection Website Description: Antonio Carrau drew on his childhood memories of Uruguay. He researched his country's decorative motifs to create this colorful and floral saddle, which is reminiscent of gaucho saddles from the 19th and 20th centuries. In keeping with his signature style, the artist created the image from small pieces of paper, which were torn and then meticulously assembled: an original cutting and collage technique that lends the scarf a clean, graphic spirit.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
