Why I Love This Pattern: This motif is "staged" by Jonathan Burton. Imagine the camera slowly pans down to reveal a key scene: upstairs at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Émile Hermès’ office has been mysteriously taken over by adventurous creatures. We see a little “Hello? Hello?” in the bottom left corner with no one to answer. Inspired by classic 1950s thrillers, this shot invites you to unravel the Mystery at number 24. Watching it all unfold is Zouzou, the rhinoceros imagined by Leïla Menchari for the store’s iconic window displays. This design is drawn in a 3 point perspective and I personally love the standard poodle and group of dogs at the bottom on the stairs.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
