Why I Love This Pattern: This scarf beautifully captures the spirit of freedom and storytelling that defines the Roma people. There are so many myths and symbols woven into this design. Musicians, dancers, and animals gathering under a tree of life, all surrounded by the wheel motif that ties everything together. The wheel represents both the literal caravan wheels and the wheel of fortune, adding layers of meaning. And the nod to the legend of Sara, the Black Madonna, tucked into the bottom corner, gives it a depth that makes it feel like a piece of art and history combined.
