From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2022/23 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: It was a brave decision to tackle the classic Springs design from 1974! Dimitri Rybaltchenko, great-nephew of its creator, Philippe Ledoux, has reworked the scarf in cubic form, creating a mise en abyme of tradition in a single stroke. Now we just have to reassemble the pieces of this kaleidoscopic puzzle: can you spot the tiny details of Napoleon lI's phaeton? Each ornamental detail of the carriage - the bees, the Grand-croix of the Légion d'honneur, the imperial seal - has been meticulously drawn as it appears on the life-sized version conserved at Schönbrunn Palace.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
