Why I Love This Pattern:“Din Tini Ya Zui” in the Aztec language, translates roughly to “I have arrived.” This is the only Hermes scarf I am aware of by Mexican artist Jose Vicente Ezequiel. It was designed for the SS 2011 collection and draws inspiration from a tapestry he created, which is currently displayed in the Musée d'Art Populaire in Mexico City. The tapestry itself, embroidered with mythical figures and animals, is reflected beautifully in the scarf’s intricate motifs.
Why I Love This Size
The 90cm silk scarf is the classic size. It’s technically the most versatile in terms of tying many different knots, styling it as a top, a bag, a headscarf and the list goes on.
