From the Hermès Website: Act Ill, scene I, La Clairiere, the name of the first Hermès scarf by Franco-German designer Édouard Baribeaud, was inspired by a scene from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Written in the late 16th century by William Shakespeare, this comedy combines magic and fantasy, and makes fun of the chaos caused by the feelings of love. Tricked by a magical spell, Titania, queen of the fairies, falls madly in love with Bottom, a character who has been transformed into a donkey. In this new version, the glade takes on a more graphic look, thanks to a cut-out effect that adds a dose of pop to the strange, poetic ambiance of the original design.
Why I Love This Size
The 90cm silk scarf is the classic size. It’s technically the most versatile in terms of tying many different knots, styling it as a top, a bag, a headscarf and the list goes on.
