Why I Love This Pattern: Hermès’s Arabesques scarf takes its name from the decorative tradition of arabesque design, an intricate style rooted in Islamic art, where repeating patterns are used to evoke the infinite. These flowing, symmetrical lines often appear in architecture and textiles, carefully avoiding figural imagery in favor of geometry and abstraction. The motif was later embraced by European artists during the Renaissance and Rococo periods, blending classical scrolls and florals with ornamental elegance.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
