From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2012/13 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Inspired by an astrological table dating from the Renaissance, the scarf Astrologie, by Françoise Faconnet, shows the ingenious system indicating the passages of the moon and sun. It is, in a way, an image of time passing. Yet the world and our time changes; rhythms are accelerating and time becomes a tempo. Reinterpreted by Cyrille Diatkine, the design, transfigured, finds modernity and vigour.
