From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2021/22 Collection Website Description: Tartan is a design of Celtic origin that has been worn in Scotland since the 16th century to identify a person's geographical and family origins, with each color combination representing the identity of a clan. Florence Manlik celebrates this traditional pattern, which adds a touch of fantasy to the classic curves of carriages. Note the elegant decoration of the door and the fine lantern behind the coachman's seat, which lights up impromptu trips. The miniature below the footboard was inspired by the coronation carriage of the French king Charles X, which is preserved in the Émile Hermès collection as a colored print.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
