From The Hermès Fall-Winter 1990/91 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: This is the Mexican rodeo which takes place in a corral known as a lienzo, for the sheer fun of it rather than in a competitive spirit. The point of it is, for each participant, to demonstrate man's mastery of the beast. Bullfights and bull-running, breaking in of wild horses, lasso tricks, etc. Women, too, have their part in it in the calla de cabalio, a horsewoman has to rein in her galloping mount, bringing in to a dead halt. "Viva la Charreada!"

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
