From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2022/23 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Julie Abadie's classic illustration from the late 1970s echoes to the clattering of carriages and magnificent teams of horses. Its dynamic composition reveals the sinuous lines of a pair of leather blinkers and the elegant interlacing formed by late 19th-century English horsewhips, whose blackthorn handles are adorned with silver rings and pommels. And repeating these lines, the other side pulsates with vibrant colours applied to the same forms, simplified and embellished with geometric patterns.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
