Why I Love This Pattern: This beautiful twilly is inspired by antique rings and fastenings in an old illustrated catalog from the Émile Hermès collection, artist Florence Manlik created a chain of imaginary hardware, hanging in the air and almost resembling musical notes. It’s called Do Re Boucles (a play on Do Re Mi), and once you notice the rhythm in the design, you can almost hear the buckles chime. Plus the eyelets almost feel like clouds in the air!
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
