Why I Love This Pattern: The first Hermès store opened at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in 1880, originally a small space with saddlery workshops and private apartments. Between 1924 and 1926, it was expanded with a neoclassical façade, additional floors, and a rooftop terrace. This terrace is now the backdrop for a lush tropical scene designed by Octave Marsal and Théo de Gueltzl, where cheetahs, monkeys, and cockatoos blend into the foliage alongside the unexpected figure of a cavalryman who has wandered into the jungle.
