From The Hermès Spring-Summer 1992 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Alfred de Dreux's portraits of amazons show us the admirable dresses they wore, falling almost to the ground. Saddle covers, too, were often decorated with the same refined elegance. Here, inspired by the artistry of the celebrated house of Camille, our draughtsman has given free rein to his imagination with these embroidered, jewel-studded treasures of craftsmanship - showing, in a festival of exquisite taste, that a horsewoman was, first and foremost, a woman.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
