From The Hermès Le Monde d'Hermès Spring-Summer 2026 Issue:

Why I Love This Pattern: The quadriga, a four-horse chariot often depicted in classical sculptures, can be seen at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Grand Palais in Paris, and the Parthenon frieze at the Acropolis Museum, to name a few. The Quadrige scarf, originally designed in the 1970s, brings a fresh twist to this ancient motif. The design interlocks four horse heads and harnesses in a puzzle-like arrangement. With its bold graphic elements, sweeping lines that trace the horses' manes, and braided cords framing the edges. I also love the horses heads repeated throughout in the jacquard fabric.
