From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2015/16 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: A graduate of the School of Graphic Art and Architecture of Paris, Ugo Gattoni applies his talents in the fields of illustration and publishing. His assured brush strokes, vivid imagination, fondness of large formats and the great meticulousness he brings to each detail are all characteristic of his designs. Hippopolis, a gigantic monument to the horse, an extravagant megapolis inhabited by mischievous equines, wonderfully conjures up his aesthetic world coloured by a surrealist spirit. With this scarf, he strives to create mazes that evoke the drawings of Escher with several curiously distributed colonnades... including even Hermès' iconic groom and carriage!

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
