From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2021/22 Collection Website Description: Six generations have followed each other to write the history of Hermès, which is based around encounters and inspired by new innovations. Today, the seventh generation continues the founding spirit, marked by audacity and elegance, while looking resolutely to the future. The designer Jan Bajtlik has created a goose game to illustrate this abundant adventure, which began in 1837 when Thierry Hermès founded his harness and saddle factory in Paris. The founder, placed at the center of this joyful spectacle, is surrounded by characters who have shaped the history of Hermès. Charles-Émile Hermès, who established the family's saddlery business at 24, Faubourg Saint-Honoré in 1880, is having fun as a child on his rocking horse! In the distance, a spaceship takes off towards unknown planets, just like Hermès, continually setting its sights on new horizons.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
