From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2016 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: A majestic elephant emerges from the centre of this scarf, symbolizing family and strength. Giraffes, crocodiles, a zebra and a leopard from the savannahs and the swamps along the Zambezi River are gathered around it. Native flora combined with python and crocodile skin motifs border the composition. La Marche du Zambèze marks the beginning of a partnership between Hermes and Ardmore, a collective of Zulu. Zimbabwean and Sotho ceramic artists. Established in 1985 by Fée Halsted in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, it now comprises seventy artists whose signature style provides a fresh take on traditional art.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
