Why I Love This Pattern: Since 1956, The Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Institute of Indology has amassed one of India’s richest archives of heritage, including hand‑written texts, miniature paintings, carved wood panels, coins, and more. The project began as a partnership between Jain scholar Muni Punyavijayaji and industrialist Kasturbhai Lalbhai, who shared a determination to safeguard the nation’s artistic and religious legacy. Their vision expanded in 1984 with the opening of an on‑site museum, now home to more than 100,000 rare volumes and manuscripts, along with sculptures and artworks such as an extraordinary fifth‑century colossal Buddha head.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
