From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2023 Seasonal Website Description: A river flows from the top of a hill, bringing with it a horde of animals. In Thibaut Huchard's jungle-like world, lions come out of the woods to join dogs jumping from bank to bank, while turtles enjoy the water slide. Gentle pink flamingos observe a troupe of kangaroos. A donkey rests under a palm tree, surprised that a herd of skeleton horses are given new life by the waters of a fountain of eternal youth. Anything can happen at a carnival! A swan takes a bow, while perched on the head of an elephant carrying a lion on its back. As we sing along to Camille Saint-Saens' original score, represented on the scarf, we have just one desire: to dive into this wonderful world!
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
